12 weeks of structured in-season training for boys and girls aged 9–16. Players are exposed to rep-level expectations, individual feedback and performance tracking throughout the program.
Players will:
➡️ Develop strong and safe tackling technique
➡️ Build core fundamentals — grip, passing, catching and carrying
➡️ Improve decision-making under pressure
➡️ Build power and explosiveness in defence
➡️ Improve leg drive and contact dominance when carrying the ball
➡️ Understand the key defensive and attacking principles higher-level coaches expect
About Coach Rob
With thousands of players coached across boys, girls, women and men — including junior representative and reserve grade players — Coach Rob has extensive experience breaking down technique and developing players across all areas of the game.
He has worked with players who have competed in the NRLW and NSW Cup, SG Ball and Tarsha Gale, and has seen firsthand the technical areas that both junior and higher-level players often get wrong.
As a high school PDHPE teacher and experienced coach, he understands not only how to teach and coach rugby league players — but how to mentor them. Players are guided to understand the game, unlock their potential and build habits that translate directly to performance on the field.
If you’re a parent who wants your child developing proper technique, strong fundamentals and a clear understanding of what higher-level coaches expect — this program is built for that.
No wasted fitness. No pointless laps.
Players won’t be running laps for the sake of it. Every drill is purposefully planned and directly linked to performance.
Each rep is designed to transfer to game day — building the specific effort areas coaches actually look for.
