From Player to Coach
Signed by the Wests Tigers at 13, I progressed through male development systems, including the Canberra Raiders NYC, and was a part of three NSW Cup (NRL Reserve Grade) systems. Injuries ultimately led me to pivot my career towards coaching.
I began coaching a girls' rugby league team as a high school teacher. This experience revealed a gap in development pathways for female players and sparked my commitment to creating opportunities for young female athletes.
Steps 2 Success (S2S)
Steps 2 Success (S2S) was created to address the lack of development opportunities for female rugby league players. Our coaching experience includes training athletes in the Lisa Fiaola Cup, Tarsha Gale Cup, Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership, and NRLW.
We have acquired expertise in areas such as strength and conditioning, speed and agility, and skill development, all tailored specifically to the female athlete. With a deep understanding of the unique physical and developmental needs of female players, we provide specialised training designed to help them progress and prepare for pathways leading to the NRLW.
